TRRP – Texas Risk Reduction Program – The intention of TRRP is to focus on releases that threaten or affect water resources (groundwater, surface water/sediment) and/or those releases that necessitate a decontamination or control remedy. TRRP requires that many details of a test run must be given to the client. TRRP also requires lower reporting limits than normal. A&B Labs’ normal Reporting Limit is our lowest standard but for TRRP projects we must report down to the Method Detection Limit (MDL).
Method Detection Limit (MDL) – The minimum concentration of a substance (an analyte) that can be measured and reported with 99% confidence that the analyte concentration is greater than zero and is statistically determined from analysis of a sample in a given matrix containing the analyte.
